Who We Serve

Acadia supports physicians and other healthcare leaders throughout the US.  Our market access and sophisticated processes are designed to support healthcare professionals ranging from the largest and most innovative risk-takers to fiercely independent private practitioners.  Learn more about how we can support your unique needs by reading about our client relationships.

MSOs

Largely created in response to various “corporate practice of medicine” (CPOM) laws, Management Services Organizations (MSOs) have become commonplace throughout healthcare.  MSOs permit non-clinicians to invest in healthcare entities, so long as they do not influence patient care (note: state CPOM laws vary greatly).  As both technology and value-based care programs evolve, MSOs are increasingly finding themselves in “gray” areas under CPOM laws.  Acadia can help guide MSOs through private equity transactions and value-based care agreements.

Conveners

Our seasoned healthcare team has deep experience in value-based care, including being involved in setting up a convener under the bundled-payment for care improvement – advanced (BPCI-A) program.  As the ultimate risk-holders with the government, conveners assume complex and often segregated risks.  Acadia is uniquely qualified to guide conveners through the risk-taking process.

Doctor Super Groups

RPGs, IPAs, DCEs, ACOs, CINs

Acadia works with numerous physician networks and healthcare consolidators.  We have played instrumental roles in helping the biggest and most successful names in healthcare navigate the risks of bringing hundreds if not thousands of physicians together under a single tax id number (EIN).

Acadia also works with entities that negotiate on behalf of independent physicians.  Contact Acadia to learn more about the risk purchasing groups (RPGs) we have established, or the ways in which we support large groups merging under a single EIN.

ASCs

Acadia is a strong supporter of both independent medicine and independent healthcare facilities.  Ending protectionist regulations that prevent meaningful healthcare competition allows independent facilities to compete on quality and outcomes.

ASCs

Acadia is a strong supporter of both independent medicine and independent healthcare facilities.  Ending protectionist regulations that prevent meaningful healthcare competition allows independent facilities to compete on quality and outcomes.

Healthcare facilities should work only with specialized healthcare brokers with access to the select markets that design coverage specific to ASC risks.  Most are unaware of terms and conditions that are out of compliance with state law or put ASCs in precarious positions at the time of a claim or a sale.  Acadia has helped countless ASCs improve coverage and get back into regulatory compliance.

Acadia recognizes the importance of site-appropriate care and is proud to partner with the ASCs that help improve outcomes and lessen the financial burden for patients.

Healthcare Attorneys

The Acadia team supports healthcare attorneys and several national and local health law associations.  Few agencies have the depth of understanding of the risks that healthcare attorneys face.

“After years of trusting Acadia’s guidance for our clients, our firm realized that it should enjoy that same level of professionalism and expertise.  When Frier Levitt appointed Acadia as our broker, we gained personal relationships and practical advice that is uncommon today. The team’s accessibility and expertise cannot be overstated.”  – Daniel Frier, Esq.
