With almost 30 years of C-suite experience as a medical malpractice insurance executive, Mr. Kane is one of the most recognized and trusted names in the industry. He is founding partner of Acadia, the nation’s leading medical malpractice insurance broker, where he specializes in insuring large multistate private equity-backed medical practices.

Prior to founding Acadia, Mr. Kane served as Executive Vice President and Northeast Regional Director of Healthcare Liability at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. where he managed the largest portfolio of physician medical malpractice insurance in the country. 

Prior to his position at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Mr. Kane has spent the past 25 years running two very successful medical malpractice insurance operations and a healthcare technology company. He is an investor, mentor, and advisor to multiple startups.

Mr. Kane is a graduate of Lehigh University.  He is currently a member of the New Jersey State Health Planning Board. He is a past member of the NJ State Youth Correctional Facilities Board of Trustees, the Board of Trustees of the Raritan Valley Community College, the United Way of Somerset County and Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church.
